This apple chutney can also be used to flavor turkey gravy. Duff's serves this gravy over sage-cheddar biscuits.
Bring the water, apple juice, cranberry juice, rice wine vinegar and orange juice to a boil.
Add the onion, red pepper, mustard seeds, salt, pepper, ginger and cinnamon. Reduce the heat and simmer for 10 minutes or until the onions are soft.
Add the sugars, apples, raisins and cranberries and stir to thoroughly combine. Simmer for 30 minutes. Cool before serving.
