Dijon mustard<\/li><li>&frac12; tsp. kosher salt<\/li><li>&frac14; tsp. freshly ground black pepper<\/li><li>&frac12; cup extra virgin olive oil<\/li><\/ul>Salad:<br><ul><li>3 Tbsp. olive oil<\/li><li>1 small French baguette, cut in half lengthwise<\/li><li>1 tsp. kosher salt<\/li><li>2 large, ripe heirloom tomatoes, cut into 1-inch cubes<\/li><li>1 English cucumber, unpeeled, sliced &frac12;-inch thick<\/li><li>1 red bell pepper, seeded and cut into 1-inch cubes<\/li><li>1 yellow bell pepper, seeded and cut into 1-inch cubes<\/li><li>&frac12; red onion, thinly sliced<\/li><li>20 large basil leaves, coarsely chopped<\/li><li>3 Tbsp. capers, drained<\/li><\/ul><\/div><div class=\"wp-block-column fdn-recipe is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:66.66%\"><h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">PREPARATION<\/h2><p>&#149; Whisk together the vinegar, garlic, mustard, salt and pepper, then stream in the olive oil until combined. Set aside.<\/p> <p>&#149; Prepare a charcoal grill for medium-high, direct heat or heat a gas grill to medium-high.<\/p> <p>&#149; Brush the baguette with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.&nbsp;Place on grill and cook just until grill marks appear and the bread is toasted. Cut into 1-inch pieces and set aside.<\/p> <p>&#149; In a large bowl, mix the tomatoes, cucumber, bell peppers, red onion, basil and capers. Add the bread cubes and toss with the vinaigrette. Season liberally with salt and pepper.
